  • Why are you waiting 85 years to notice that was a genocide?????

  • @tekcarem

Actually it is not 85 years, but almost 96 years of fascist-criminal denial of its dirty past!

To answer your question in brief:

When a criminal Turkey wipes out more than 1.5 million native Armenians and uproots the remainings from their millennial homeland, there is nothing left but beside despair for very long time.

But be sure that even 100 years or more later Armenians would still make Turkey pay for its heinous crime!

  • @tekcarem +turkey was blackmailing nations, but now, one of the most democratic country France has voted a law to punish the denial of the Armeian Genocide by Turks in 1915 ! and if you denied it, you migth be condamned to 1 year of jail ...

  • @iSlash96 I'm sorry, friend, but that is not the case.Turks have a variety of positions including "there was only a turkish genocide","we didn't do it","it was the Jews","it was for protection","there werent even 1.5 million Armenians in the ottoman empire","u just want our land","ur just jealous."

each 1 sounds more ridiculous than the previous or the next 1

ur prime minister himself has several times claimed that no genocide took place&he was elected

also, why else is Ragip Zarakolu in jail?

  • @shooshoobob1 most of the turks are not saying it didn't happen, but say we didnt do it. and they are right, turks didnt do it. in the time it happend, Ataturk was against the sultan, ataturk wanted to start a new republic, but the sultan tried to save the ottoman empire by killing armenians, but ataturk and most turks were against this plan. so since most of the turks are kemalists, they are against the genocide, but say they didnt want it, the sultan did

  • Turkey's greatest modern poet,Nazim Hikmet, who spent much of his life in a Turkish prison, saw the tragedy in his country's denial of the Armenian Genocide. In his poem "Evening Walk"(1950), the poet speaks for himself: The Armenian citizen has not forgiven the slaughter of his father in the Kurdish moutains.

    But he loves you,

because you also won't forgive those who blackened the name of the Turkish people

  • @bokyedegeber armenians are a part of one of the oldest civilizations... yes, our homeland doesnt exactly have a booming economy right now, but as long as my armenian brothers and sisters continue to educate themselves, i guarantee you that we will thrive. you may be wrinkly and a bit stupider than you are now, but there will be worldwide recognition of the armenian genocide soon.

    sincerely,

    "a little armenian" :P

  • I like how the genocide deniers can never come up with a single story. Some will say it was famine, some will say it was civil war, some of the zanier things I've heard were that the Armenians were uprooted and sent into the Syrian Desert for their own well being or that the Armenians committed genocide against Turks.

  • I just watched this movie and I could not stop crying. Amazing movie

  • Hi I'm Armenian and BTW they also did hang us and everything that they did made us Armenians very sad so on Sunday its going to be a sad day

  • @GenMata

    As long as it takes...

But I believe Turkey has to come to terms with its genocidal past before the centenary of their republic.

  • @Hairenakitz Sadly I doubt they will ever confess and apologize.
