House Republicans have offered an economic recovery plan that will create twice the jobs at half the cost for hard working Americans. The House GOP plan does not include wasteful pet projects and it ensures that the funding immediately goes into effect. No waste, just jobs.

  • Tell me this Mr. Cantor. Why is it that every republican voted no on the stimulus plan. BUT THEN had the nerve to go around their home districts taking credit for (and praising I might add) projects that were funded entirely from said stimulus??? ie: waste treatment plants, job creation, (but there wasn't any of this right???) And the list goes on and on... Republicans sure place themselves on the high horse in home districts, for things YOUR party had no part of.

  • One of the most unconscionable parts of the bill is the decline in dairy prices is prompting the government to raise the price of milk. People have less money and then they want to raise it even further...

Taxpayers lose twice. Once because their money is being spent on dairy producers and once when they have to pay for higher prices of milk. in my state its around 350 a gallon.

  • GREAT, anything beats what the Liberals put forward.
