Go to dedwards8708 channel on youtube and watch some of his video's of big lifted quads with big tires trying to follow him through the really bad mud holes. After the 4-wheelers with big tires and lifts try to follow us and can't , we either pull them out, or their atv friends do, and then they stop trying to follow us. lol Most of the bad to the bone atvs are Canams. They are awesome 4-wheelers!

Yes, in deep , hard rutts my tracks will get widged in or I'll be high centered when driving down a deep rutted ,atv mud trail. I avoid those trails. lol But , when you get to the really nasty soft, pudding mud holes or deep water holes, I have no fear. lol What ever works for you is what I say. I got an amphib because of all the places I could,nt go when I had my 500 Sportsman.

The advantage that my Argo 6x6 with Adair tracks has over any big lifted quad is the flat smooth lower tub. This means I can only sink about 12 inches and then the tracks will drag the tub foward or backwards in the mud not matter how deep or soft it is. A quad with big tires and lift will search for traction in soft mud, digging itself deeper and deeper until it can't move forward. The problem 4-wheelers and trucks have, is all the drag of things hanging down.

  • @amphibdriver1 ok true, but thats not always the case, what about dryish ruts? argos dont fly they float. and imo 4wheelers are funner. i really enjoy my lil 60hp canam 650

  • Awesome video Dan! When the very counter reaches 3:44 thats some really soft mud!

  • I just put a set of tracks on my 4 wheeler im ready to try em out

  • Go argo
