I went to the Stoll Picture Theatre once. It was a beautiful place. That one time was when this song was played in the theatre. It was an experience I will never forget. I was 28 and my husband and I went there for our late 11th anniversary.

I'm afraid you are right. The Stoll picture theatre closed finally in late 1957, and was demolished in 1958. An indifferent Office block stands there now, but has a small theatre in the basement.
As I always say.... "What the Luftwaffe didn't get, the redevelopment 'vandals' got later.

one of my favourite Bidgood records i wore out somewhat as a child by playing over and over!My copy is on the "Unison"label i believe only sold in the co-op.
