@patt1008 That wasn't in the fifties. Johnson became vice president in 61, became president after Kennedy was shot and then was elected in 64. Eartha's comments were anti war. The vietnam war was going on.

it is sad that during the commi scare of the fiftys she made a comet to lady bird jonson. and was basicly ran out of of the states for nearly 15 years.
