It's a coon show.D.L has been on this ish for too long. I lost all respect for him when he joked about the "nappy headed ho's" comment.

This is why people all over the world think they are better than us and disrespect us. It's bad enough all we see is negative images on the nightly news and every other movie. Why do we have to do it to ourselves (you can add Flavor Flav and tons of other names)

Its just go to show how black ctors/coon artistry will do anything to stay on the air a lot of them have no intregrity whats so ever and its gettin worse by the minutes look at the shoe '' Meet the browns" by tyler perry if that aint' a throw back to the 30's and 40's ..what the fuck.. what wont they would do to stay in Hollyweird..I think what one of the other blogers said is right thats why we encounter problems in the work force because other races think we think like what they see on tv

I am so GLAD to see intelligent comments against DLHughley. He wasn't funny on BET's ComicView in the 90's. He was AWFUL in SoulPlane (and Brothers?) movies, too. When he repeated the DonImus comment on Jay Leno, that ended ANY support I would ever have for this fool! Great job, Prof Watkins!

PRHousequake, that was very well spoken regarding the DL lunatic here. I saw the comment on the basketball team ( he said they had nappy hair, ect). Did he really need to do that? Was it funny? Maybe to non blacks it was hilarious, but I felt hurt and let down that a black man would take center stage to say how ugly his own black women were. Don Imus said that's what black men do & he was right.

I didn't expect too much from CNN given the fact that all their black achors looks white or nearly white exception of Tony Harris. I saw an ad for CNN where it appears they lightened his skin tone. Choosing Hugley CLEARLY shows how out of touch they are. The "black in america" series was a joke.
