This is a WeatherSTAR 4000 emulator video I recorded to show my metropolitan area weather conditions from Central Park in New York City on March 2, 2009 at 12:20 PM Eastern Standard Time.

The largest snowfall of the winter season fell in the New York City metropolitan area during the first two days of March. Between 8 to 14 inches of snow was forecast for New York City with the highest amounts on parts of central Long Island and coastal Connecticut.

This video was created for personal entertainment use only (meaning not for any commercial broadcast that would violate copyright law). Downloading and reposting this video on YouTube or any other video sharing web site is not permitted. All images (except for the regional radar map itself) are emulated in appearance to resemble graphically what the local forecast segments looked like on The Weather Channel during primarily the 1990s.

  • I've had this song in my head for the past 16 years, now I finally know what it's called.
