China-Defense Budge

The Chinese communist party has just announced its defense budget for 2009--which will be growing a "modest" 14.9 percent. This translates to an expenditure of over $70 billion US dollars this year.

The budget has grown less this year than in previous years, but it is still twice as much as the United States, which grew their defense budget by about 7 percent for 2009.

Many foreign analysts believe China's real military spending is much
more than the official budget.

Taiwan and other nearby nations worry that the regime's plans to modernise its military lack openness and could stoke conflict in the region.

It is a prediction based on relations between two countries, facts while making predictions are irrelevant.

NEVER did I say America is 100% innocent.

But when you look at Chinese human rights (or lack of) and economic methods used by the CCP one can easily see that they are a controlling and at times brutal government.

Not to mention, the Asian mind is very different than the western mind.

The Asian mindset is often (but not always) a mindset of conquer and control. Which is often CCP goals.

I love China and visit often.

I think you are talking rubbish without substantiating with any facts and intelligence comments. You are talking base on American foreign policies which interfere and try to impose your values to others.

US is the one, who bully and invade other countries like Iraq and Afghanistan.

Your Country, has been threatening to nuke China, Vietnam, Iran and North Korea. This is worst than bulling.

I think in 10-15 years China is going to try and bully a nearby Asian country.

And America has been so naive and complacent, they will sit back and do nothing.

We Americans are sending billions of dollars a year to China by buying junk Chinese goods.

We are feeding our own worst enemy.
