We already wrote here about LeapFrog's TAG Reading System for kids between age 4 to 8 years old. Below is the presentation of the pen by Craig Hendrickson, LeapFrog's vice president of reading products. He mentioned the popular LeapPad product, TAG's predecessor. "LeapFrog really built a legacy around our company with read based products. Our LeapPad was a phenomenal seller. We've sold over 30 million platforms worldwide with that products and over 70 million books", said Hendrickson.

As a dad, I really liked two things:
- the possibility to download and drag and drop new books to the pen;
- and that I can upload data about how my child's learning path, what his learning and what's the next step for him. It sounds like monitoring, but for parents that care like me, that's a nice feature.

In our exclusive interview (after the jump) with LeapFrog's reading solutions brand manager, Kate Eskew, we learned that TAG will be available later in the Summer in the UK, France, Spain, Mexico, Canada and New Zealand.
