Is that one of the things to do? I think my creative writing teacher told us that list in our class

  • YES! meaning, don't hold anything back. give it all, right now, everything you've got, don't 'save' anything for later.

  • omg I thought it was that, what was the name of the book again? Our teacher told us that for timed writings we did. I had those rules written on my folder. that was like 3 years ago I was like omg I know that! =]

  • I forget who the quote is from directly... but I heard it from Natalie Goldberg in "Writing Down the Bones", I think it's Annie Dillard?

  • i did a degree in english, but skipped the creative writing class as i always was into performing arts. i have an idea of doing a book but its compiled over the next 40 years of my working life, like a journey. when i reach the end, i can edit and highlight the fundamental moral lessons about life which is what i want my literary work to be about. and yes i agree with 'dumping', write all ideas down so they wont be forgotton. the protagonist in my story is a bunny, haha :p
