  • @Dodger481

The temperature of the earth continues to rise, even as we speak.

  • @Dodger481 The statistics that people point to are the ones that tell us the average global temperature, which is rising, though not entirely significant, which doesn't account for the fact that seasonal weather patterns show that, while the huge rise in heat during certain seasons, due to El Nino, the glaciers are melting, which is causing arctic winds to show significant temperature drop in colder seasons. This is why people are misled, they're being spoon fed bits and pieces of information.

  • @TheAlexANGST

The facts seem to be more elusive than every. Associates degree or not. The only fact that everyone can agree on is that their has not been any statistically signifigant global warming for quite some time.

  • @TheUltimateBeing01 No, Bill gates. The 53 Billionaire.

  • @ibanez2damaxx

    Bill O Riley?

    Ummm...

    Bad example friend.

  • It has become unfortunate that every time I look at an American all I think is how god damn thick they all are. Apart from Bill. Bill is not thick.

  • @gusgus544 Use of fossil fuels increases these pollutants. The higher the concentration of pollutants in the atmosphere, the more radiation will be absorbed by the atmosphere, the more the average temperature wlll increase. Global warming is not a myth, unlike what people at Fox News wil tell you.

And it is attributed to the use of fossil fuels and air pollution by factories and vehicles.

The U.S is the largest contributor of carbon dioxide emissions, w/ 5 tons of carbon per person per year.

  • @gusgus544

The concentration of carbon dioxide has been increasing over the past century, with it being about 394 ppm right now, which is more than a 20 percent increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere since 1911. The eath's temperature was reported to have risen half a degree Celsius in 1995 and it's expected to continue rising by an additional 2 degrees Celsius in 2100.

    There is definitely a correlation.

  • @gusgus544

    That's not true.

Carbon dioxide, nitrogen and methane oxides, and water vapor all trap infrared radiation reemitted by the earth's surface and redirects it back to the earth's surface, which increases the average temperature of the eath's surface.

And there are several undesirable consequences global warming, such as changes in weather patterns in some regions, major floods, drought in some regions of the world and changes in the ecosystem.

    CO2 concentration: 394 ppm

  • Today, the average global temperature is around 14 degrees C and the atmospheric CO2 is roughly 388 ppm. That's the lowest Earth's CO2 has ever been. Roughly 450 million years ago, late Ordovician period, the average global temperature was around 12 degrees C and the atmospheric CO2 was around 4,500 ppm. At the end of the Cretaceous period, the average temperature was 22 degrees C and the atmospheric CO2 was around 500 ppm. There is no correlation! CO2 doesn't affect the global temperature!
