CTR in the Content Network. What should you expect your CTR's to be in Google's content network? The answer...it depends on your account structure, the types of sites you are targeting and the ad format you are using.
You really shouldn't grade your account based on average click through rates. If you run a placement report, you'll find that click through rates vary campaign to campaign, AdGroup to AdGroup and placement to placement.
If your CTR isn't what you expected or would like, analyze that site, the pages your ads are showing and the ad format and copy. Some general sites are just going to get lower CTR's by nature. Some ads may perform better on some sites and terrible on others.
So when evaluating your click through rate on the content network, make sure you are looking at all the variables.

@ShelleyEllis noooo im more of a cat person! LOOK AT HIM! he is likea YEAH! TAKE ME OUT FOR A WALK! see a cat...is like a...BATTLE BEAST. you leave them out, give em fish and milk, and then they go and HUNT or get in fights with other cats and come back home with battlescars, so then you can show your cat off as a CHAMPION around your neigborhood.

@leethax0r Yeah, he's pretty much a wuss unless (someone tried to hurt me...that's when his mean side comes out). Now Frannie on the other hand has more of that backyard, hunter personality. She's a tripod Katrina survivor.
