Women sure don't want to work at all. But they still want to get paid.
I don't even agree with maternity leave for women who get pregnant.
In my opinion, such people have chosen family over career (which is fine), but then so long, you're gone. If an employer wishes to keep them on afterwards, whatever, but they shouldn't be strong armed by the government into financing their employees personal life choices.
No work, no wage. Its as simple as that.

This is similar to the notion (mainly brought about by advertisers) that any woman should be given gifts and treated as special on "Mothers Day", even if they aren't mothers :P

Why not give men paid maternity leave whether or not they have kids in that case? Six months off would be pretty sweet.
Most women don't understand where money comes from. They think that it just exists and should be given to them. The notion that money is based on work eludes them.

It is a studied fact that women want to opt out of the workforce at thirty years of age. Now that they have forced their way into the workforce, demanded same money for less work, demand the work environment be changed to suit them and then claim six months off just demonstrates again they do not want to work, it obviously interferes with their social life..

I always loved the women that would take "maternity leave" and then come back and either demand modifying their work schedules to fit into their breastfeeding (yes, that actually happened at a place I worked), or actually quit - notice they quit AFTER they get their free 6 months though....

You know I used to take the attitude that we should live and let live. That peoples political views were there own harmless business. But now I see how important socialism is to feminism, and it disgusts me. I truely hate socialism and I am PROUDLY right wing
