Good video. It is interesting to see this vantage point. The police just don't like being filmed. I didn't see anything they did that would be out of line in the least bit, but they are always scared when a camera is on. I would think he asked you to leave because you were standing in the crime scene, but that is hard to tell from a video. If the ACLU didn't care, then you got nothing....

I agree with your points. You cannot tell from the video but there were people to my left and right, the cop only had a problem with the guy with the camcorder, so blocking a crime scene was not an issue.

What was the cops reasoning behind his stopping you did they give you a reason? I wpuld send it to a news station and see if they get behind you and embarass the SPD and ask y too.

The tape tells it all, he would give no reason for ordering me to stop taping. I played the video on the local access station and also contacted the Boston ACLU, but they didn't seem to care.
