I think some portion of the Bible does contain the word of God but also the words of prophets, scholars, historians and other known/unknown individuals who had put down their own interpretation of the event that happended at the time. And that leads to among other things confusions, inconsistency, error and contradictions because humans are not infalible. So when you look at the Bible you don't really know which words are the word of God and which ones are not

So i assume if your christian you will believe the religion god made was christianity. So how can jesus who is his son and also him at the same time be jewish ? lol

i wanna tell dat, as mr paint1487 has told u, "The trinity is Father, Son and Holy Spirit and all equally one God. if u r this much interested then u should read bible urself n u should not say anything about any religion, n should not place question mark, if u have any doubt go to a priest n clear it. remember my friend, dont put questionmarks against gods word, n btw u will come to know the truth at the end.

@TheHeartofmygod I believe in the trinity. I believe that the verse is the first reference to the trinity. I am not sure why this comment is addressed towards me.

@paint1487 read genisis In verse 26, God says, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness ..." This is the only instance in the creation account that God uses the plural form to refer to himself. It's interesting to note that this happens just as he begins to create man. Many scholars believe this is the Bible's first reference to the Trinity.

Frist of all trinity/triune god is pagan n heathen to the biblical God the one n only there are none beside/ no partners, but if you look at the christian trinity you'll notices how they claim god is one in three is different but truly it's not at all they claim one with three sharing godhead Brahma anybody(pagan Hindu god looks allot like Christians god doesn't it but white/black man with a white bread i guess!Lol... God is One n only Unseen, Unique n Eternal, Self Existing! God has no gender!

God has blessed you with a brain - USE IT! You said a mouthful there!. But if you want to prove you're a "real" Christian, you have to take it on faith (a non-biblical view like the Trinity) rather than: "Prove all things and hold fast to that which is good" (which is biblical). Somehow we got the idea the more we force the unbiblical into being biblical, the more Christ-like and Christan we become.

In Deuteronomy 32 Moses asks the people "Is not God your Father ?" And so God who never changes, who is declared by the Law Giver, Moses to be "Father" is revealing that the Trinity must be true. For what Father does not yet have a Son ? Can you call yourself Father , if you never had a child ? So, how does God know what is the Father, and what is the Son ? Are these not special relationships a human can have as a passion, and God does not know ? God is His own Son, Jesus.
