umm Peyton Manning won the player of the decade in the NFL with only ONE fucking ring over Tom Brady. Kobe has 4 rings (1 without shaq) so thats not quite the same as the NFL discussion. BTW I hate Tom Brady but it 3 rings and 50 td passes in 1 season clearly outdo Peytons accomplishments in my opinion. Kobe has been in 7 of the 11 finals since 2000 (assuming LA beats the suns this year which they will). Kobe did it 4 sstrtaight times with shaq and will do it 3 straight times without shaq.

Though Kobe Bryant is obviously one of the best and probably top 3 all time. Shaq deserves player of the decade. the 3 rings that kobe has, well....Shaq has too, that was Shaq's team back then. and for him to leave to MIA and get another. he deserves it. though he isnt that big of a factor now, he still is the original superman.

Kobe made it to 6 Western Conference Finals.... won 4 championships, have 6 Nba Finals appeearances,and 7 time all star in this decade... I don't think anyone has a better resume! Kobe, in second place i'd say SHAQ or Duncan

You're right. But like Bill Simmons said, Shaq coulda had a 4.0 grade average, but he settled for a 3.68 and a great ride. He's definitely one of the top 12 all-time players, but he could have been so much more.
