This is my 306 diesel turbo starting from cold after the injectors were cleaned. The hard starts were narrowed down to 2 defective glow plugs but the injectors still needed checking anyway.

I stop the engine half way through and start it again just to see how how long it cranked for.

  • ur exhaust sounds like its blowing some where in the system when you revved you could hear air escaping

  • That's the turbo spooling up and down you can hear.

  • this is when the engine has compression so it doesnt matter if its started over and over...... your headgaskets on its last legs

  • No its not, lol. Its fine, the glow plugs were defective and the injectors needed a clean. It starts first time every time now with no issues at all. I don't know what you have to base your theory on when you don't know anything about the cars history or whats been done to it. There is nothing wrong with the gasket, its fine. I also posted the same on your other comment.

  • This car don't have problems, check the pre-heaters candle! This is the problem of this car! 60 euros (bosh) and you can start your car cleanely! I've done this work myself and all goes right! Try it!

  • @jamie88694 Thats the air rushing between your ears when your brain starts up.
