Rod Paterson sings The Bleacher Lassie O' Kelvinhaugh from the album Up to Date released in 2000. The album is actually a collection of music from his first two albums, Two Hats (1987) and Smiling Waved Goodbye (1988). While best known for his work with the groups Jock Tamson's Bairns, The Easy Club and Ceolbeg, Rod also has a successful solo career and is widely recognised as one of the finest interpreters of the songs of Robert Burns.

Beautiful! I've been looking for a version of this song ever since I heard the Spinners' version on cassette about 15 years ago. It's so lovely I couldn't believe it wasn't more widely recorded. Will be on the look-out for this album as a result.
