I know the desire to "know" is it's own misery.
I concentrate on misery, can't seem to escape.

Trees growing beautifully in the stillness. Trees blowing beautifully in the wind. Admiration for one who wants to know. And commits. Admiration for trees growing beautifully in the stillness. I stand wanting, wanting, wanting to know. Don't know what. Wish I knew what others know. Beautiful wind in beautiful trees. I saw a beautiful wind in front of beautiful trees. Just wish I knew.

A couple years ago, I was Muslim for a little while, until I found my self angrily wishing that Allah would have mercy on the children of a very self-centered bus driver, because I knew she was going to burn in Hell. I finally turned to Buddhism not long after that, realizing that everyone has issues that make them feel like the victim. Nothing has given me more peace than the words of the Buddha. May you also find peace.

Thay is kind of a nickname that his students call him. It means "teacher" in Vietnamese. His name is pronounced "tick nyat hawn".
ps~ Way to think in a non-dualistic way and recognize the oneness and "interbeing" of all religions and practices. Namaste.
