GoPro Hero2 Test - Hockey 001

Test footage of the GoPro Hero2 on my friend, Dan. Settings: 960@48fps, 170 FOV, top helmet mount.

Still new to iMovie and had fun playing with the freeze frame feature. Disappointed the software doesn't have time coding in the source clips. The camera began to tilt upwards either from a few small impacts or constant movement. Next time will lower the camera angle and torque it down more. Got a long way to go before my own GoPro trailer!

Nice footage! Did you use the waterproof housing? Or the open back? And since all modes can give you a 170 degree FOV, what made you decide on 960 vs. 720 or 848 (with 120fps). Sorry for all the questions.. have a game coming up on Friday and I have to set 3 of these up! Cheers!

@ChrisWheatley97 It was open back so it could pick up audio. Really no reason for the waterproof housing unless going underwater. I was just testing so yes, I will probably try 720@60fps the next game! Still so much to learn about post processing, too! Good luck!

Good stuff, thanks for the feedback. You're right -- there's a million ways to skin a cat when it comes to rendering and editing. All comes down to whatever you're comfortable with.
