This is the Omega Speedmaster caliber 321, one of the best watches ever produced, the only watch that ''Worn on the Moon''. This model in particular is the same used by ''Ed White'' in the first moon mission. This is the ''straight lugs'' version!

  • The hour hand, doesn´t work / reset perfect. Maybe your watch need service

  • @comcom64 dont need service, need is to change parts, service its done, but the parts of the watch has more than 50 years and some need to be replaced, but 321 caliber parts are SO FREEKING HARD TO FIND, its hard to mantain a 321 working perfectly..

  • The chrono second hand did not move to 12 o'clock position upon reset!

  • @razak76 thats a 1965 watch bro, with all his parts original, its normal that dont move in 12 exactly, because some parts are worn for normal use and need to be changed... and i dont change it everything because i cant find the parts because the watch is too old...

Yes, it's an 861 and I'm talking about servicing [taking it apart, cleaning, oiling AND part replacement], the parts for the 321 are not that expensive, the complete 321 balance assembly is around $500 for example, not only that but some parts are interchangeable with the 861 cutting down costs if you wanted to; I'm not saying you're a liar, so I think you misunderstood me and went in defense mode, I'm just saying they're charging you too much for servicing it. =)

  • @Cujucuyo do you have a 321 caliber in your watch? i dont think so, i think that you have an 861.... and 150$ its only oiling... no changing parts, that watches are expensive...

  • @toonames

You've got to be kidding me, what a rip-off... last time I serviced my vintage Speedy Moon it cost me no more than $150 from my authorized dealer.

  • yes! :-) all my vids are homemade

  • from the looks of it, that's about as authentic as a homemade dvd

  • thats taste my friend, nobody thinks the same thing, cocodrile strap are very luxurious and confortable, but i like stainless steel because its lasts forever. And if i need to choose, i will choose both hahaha
