Mistaken identity

I did not read this book, but I did meet Whitney's parents today. This is an incredibly sad story. I am 13 and very moved by the story. Reading the book brings feelings but shaking the hand of Colleen (Whitneys mom) brings others, you feel the emotions she felt and I am just glad I did not haveto feel the same feelings as Laura's parents. RIP Laura.

Hey DownIn-apparently we also have idiots who DON'T believe in God.

I worked with Laura's boyfriend at the time of the accident. It was truely horrific for all that knew those who were affected by this accident. I read the blogs that the VanRyn family posted about Whitney's progress, all the while believing (as they did) that it WAS Laura. Their amazing faith has pulled them through to the other side of that devastating incident.

wow what a foolish and ignorant thing to say, just remember these words, i praise and bow down to God because i know and believe in him, but " one day every knee WILL bow, and every tonge WILL confess that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD" including YOU! These words may seem stupid to you, but atleast i have hope after this life is over, where do you think you're going? i rather live life as if there was a God, then live life not believing and then after we die come to find out there was a God

i love this book.. im almost done reading it.. Its an amazing story.. its amazing how God kept these two families sane through all this.....i just cant understand how the Van Ryans stared right at Whitney for 5 weeks and didnt see it wasnt Laura, even after they explained the swelling in the face going down, the tubes were all taken off, and even whitney sitting up, how couldn't they see it wasnt Laura... wow!!!
that must of been double the pain when they finally learned this...

I read this book whilst on Holiday in La Palma. It's a MUST read. I read it in 40 hours..simply could NOT put it down.The familes, both, have been so strong through the awful trauma. They have a strong belief in the lord. I wish I had.
