The Joker in "Jury Duty"

This the screentest/audition I did for the role of the Joker, about a year ago. Heath Ledger got the part, but I'm still trying to get into the film as a one of the Joker's bad men

What's good with the Joker is that you can see him through many different perspectives. The problem is not to be too off-point.

@FandeJay thank you! Yes, there are so many different ways to approach him. the joker in the comics was the Joker I had researched. When I originally thought of doing this, that was my inspiration. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I know the Make-Up is not what made the act... cuz you did good. The make-up does sell and get attention... so maybe if you had more make up you probably would have made a better first impression. On the acting side... you need to examine the character a little more... lunatics do not show their insanity all the time... they seem pretty normal... until they're ticked off. When you were supposed to take advantage of the character, you didn't go full head-on when you killed the dude. Good job tho.

I sincerely appreciate your critic. I agree. I needed more work on his backstory. The actual make up was done this way because it was a mock screen test for Christopher Nolan and it was decided (since we didn't have a full make-up crew) to go less on the makeup not knowing what he wanted, and more on the character. Thanks again for your very perceptive critic.

i like this joker. awesome, i've always wanted to play the joker!!! i think that the jokers face needs to be kinda ugly and more pale, my opinion, its your movie, still, very awesome

this is the joker i remember from the comics the joker should be much darker but yeah i still respect and admire heaths it was damn good but hey the never killed joker off in TDK so this may be the new joker in this vid
