The Original Alice Cooper Band (sans Glen Buxton) gathered together in 1977 to record the album 'Battle Axe'. They really shine on this track. It's a shame they couldn't have dragged Cooper into the studio to sing on a few tracks - Alice was best when he was with this classic band!

  • If you can't find it try eBay. They'll have the LP every now and then for around $15.00 wuth shipping and handling. Suprisingly no-one bids on them! I picked up a NM White Label Promo for under $10.00!

  • My friend told me he paid more than that for a copy years ago, came with a poster!

  • The story just keeps going I love this band thanks for posting I gotta get this CD please post whole album

  • I will try to post as much as I can!

  • Excellent song. The "Battle Axe" album kicks ass.

"Love Is Rather Blind" and "Rock & Roll Radio" (Neal Smith on lead vocals) are other favourites of mine from that album.

  • Neal's solo album is for sale on his site, but I like the tracks he did with the BDB better.... the one thing I love of his is "Baby Don't Stop/Baby Don't Go"... soon as I get an mp3 I will make a vid for that too!

  • Yes! Takes me (Way) back, saw them all around Conn. Good memories! Wish the guys would put something together again on a more frequent basis...

  • anyone remember the "Flying Tigers"??? I think they put that band together after this one.

  • Great riff. I remember buying this album when it came out, feeling sad that Alice and the band had split. Still love them all and have great memories of being a teen and crazy about the AC band! Alice is still my No. 1 after 37 years. Love to all AC fans X
