School Focus 1-4-2010

Marshall Mentors-

Learn and Serve students from Forest Park High School fulfill their class requirements and help out students at Marshall Elementary School by being mentors. Four Forest Park High students enjoy coming Marshall once or twice a week to help the fourth and fifth grade students who did not do so well on their SOL tests work on academic vocabulary, reading stamina and fluency.


Manassas Ballet Visit-

Students at McAuliffe Elementary got the chance to see a live ballet performance without even leaving their school. This unique learning opportunity was made possible by the Manassas Ballet Theatre. Dancers from the Theatre performed excerpts from their show the Nutcracker.
