I remember going on vacation with family as a kid and yelling "We're not afraid" with my little brother as we ran down hills as Frog and Toad did. Thank you for the upload, for the years of enjoyment that my family has gotten from your work, and for doing such amazing claymation! I'm a puppeteer and clay animator and hope to be as good as your work someday, Mr. Matthews!

I can't tell you how many fond memories this clip brings. I watched that VHS of Frog and Toad ragged as a kid and now have the DVD (which is mysterious hidden behind Curious George, as you obviously know). The humor of the books is so wonderfully captured by these films that the limited characters available don't allow me to rave enough. ^^

Yes, that was what the snake said. The voice was Hal Smith who was also doing Toad's voice. Hal was Otis (the town drunk) on the Andy Griffith Show. A sweet soul!

The first time was on HBO. Then WGBH picked it up for Long Ago and Far Away with James Earl Jones.
