no his video wasnt around back then.

i now use only one maxy jet with the mod occasionally in my bare bottom 29 g to stiur up junk that lands on the bottom glass ...once its circiling around in the water i put the diatom filter in to pick it up

I have two maxi jet 1200's with mod kits and my tank seems to be doing fine. My tank is a 180gallon reef, 13 chromis, 3 cleaner shrimps and other goodies. Just out of curiousity... Did you see LIMPITSREEF'S maxi jet video? He shows how to close off the slits. And what size is your tank? Maybe your tank was to small for the maxijet.

youre the fool for not listening....that thing was so strong no matter where pointed it it would stirr sand....and fish would swim away from it. i could hear it because it was sl loud from the other room.

little fish like blue chrmois got sucked to it and stuck IN the slits...

cleaner shrimp got pulled in.

AT AN UPGRADE THIS THING FAILED.

youre the fool for jumping to conclusions before even knowing. just because its not DIY doesnt mean its good.
