@sr19 Powerlifting is MUCH less intense than bodybuilding.
A bodybuilder has to endure pain every set of the way till he completely fails with the weight.
A powerlifter actually rarely if ever goes to failure in his training.
Most powerlifters actually train with no more than 65% of their max most of the time and they worry more VOLUME than intensity.
And we know it's not about pain, it's about commitment.
Every teenager can endure pain in the gym till he gets hurt.
It's more of a mind game.

@Obsidian1392 undoubtedly. bb are tremedously commited to what they do and i respect them for it. but in terms of training.....powerlifting training is the be all and end all of their lifestyle. all about their training, so they go balls out with it. anyone really can go into the gym and do 5 sets of 8 bench etc etc not saying it isnt difficult, but it takes a special character to train near max levels week in week out. bodybulding is more a lifestyle, powerlifting training is much more intense.

@sr19 I don't think that's necessarily true. Top level bodybuilders train fucking hard

@Obsidian1392 why you must be the 50th person to notice my obvious typo. well done. any intelligenc whatsoever would tell you i was referring to powerlifters training harder than bodybuilders.

i hate this fat clown. powerlifting used to appeal to me but now I see what its all about. People so fat their bench press range of motion is half that of a normal guy, squats that are EMBARRASSING to watch because they clearly are not parallel. fuck loads of equipment making the lifter lift more than they really can. what a fucking circus show

@sr19 powerlifters train harder than powerlifters?

@alexkx3 I am a powerlifter and while i love my sport but i have to admit, bodybuilding is a sport which you must give your entire life to truly become great. I am not dedicated enough to ever become a professional bodybuilder, but at the same time its not what i love. I think we all can agree though lifting heavy shit and being abnormally huge is awesome

@alexkx3 and butterflies look like ketchup on a plate
