No politcal party is any good today. People that continue to praise Obama and the democrats as some kind of saviours are just plain ignorant. America can never recover. They have borrowed and spent us into oblivian. Democracy is over as Obama is pouring in money to acorn to buy votes so he can win the next election.

If you ask the people what they want, you're bound to get a stupid answer - and the only way you get political power is by doing the bidding of the people. The merits of Democracy have been questioned since its inception millenia ago (and for good reason).

Americans borrow billions fro China then send the cash to Saudia arabia in exchange for oil and then we burn the oil in our SUV's to go on vacation.
Polling Americans is plain dumb. They put Obama in power and he is borrowing against the future of their children and granchildren so they can continue to fill up their SUV's/

Harkinsrule... you obviously dont understand how polling works... if GALLUP were to selectively poll more people "like" you... then the poll would a gross misrepresentation of the general public.

People are high on crack right about now. When they see the "results" of this stimulus package, and find out they might net $500 extra cash (which will be spent quickly)then take a poll. People still think Obama is going to pay their mortgage payments and put gasoline in their automobile. Well, take your $500 and apply that towards your mortgage and gasoline. That's it folks.
Watch the tax revolt in California. It is just starting and it is growing fast.

Ignorance is bliss. If the American people don't understand that they are being robbed by the Federal Reserve system we are doomed. This stimulus bill is like putting a Bandaid over a gunshot wound instead of taking the bullet out. Our predecessors would be sad to see how we shrink from making hard decisions. We HAVE to let the market run its course and liquidate the bad assets. We will be lucky if we get out of this one without the Dollar crashing if we keep printing money like crazy.
