@fachy1981 You CANT be into the air industry unless you recognize both companies for their past and present achievements. In order to Be FAA certified both companies have to build products that are tested through the extremes. This insures airworthiness for long periods of time.

@fachy1981 "I think Airbus has done better than Boeing by producing a great aircraft like A340" I've been on an A340, it is a really smooth fly by wire airplane, and great for long range. However Boeing did their homework on the 777 and 787, So the ultimate opinion lies on the airline companies that operate both.

@fachy1981 "Boeing 777 is nothing but cheap and boring replacement of the 1980a 767 design." It's NOT cheap i can tell you that. At around 257 Million a pop it's a lot more expensive than the A340 but carries in better fuel efficiency as well as emissions. Most airliners chose the 777 over the A340 because of it's lower cost of maintenance, higher return in MPG per passenger and more power out of just those two engines alone which produce more thrust than the 4 engines out of the a340.

@fachy1981 "A330=1992, copy by U,S 777,1994" The 777 is WORLDS apart from the a330. The engines are far bigger an the systems incorporated into the airplane are much different. the 777 didn't even have the a330 in it's sights. It was to fill the gap between the Boeing 767 and 747. Which it did. The airplane is a Massive success. Also the Americans pretty much invented aviation.
