Eckankar teaches that one decides/judges by ones own personal inner experiences with the Light and Sound.

Relying on miracles and outer personality are not part of the Eckankar teachings. It is about developing ones own direct connection to Spirit.

@cybersailor I remember the same. There was never any pressure, even upon leaving the organization.

They both also said repeatedly that the spiritual path an individual is on is where they need to be for that time and that others shoudl not interfere with, try to forcefully change or disrespect that choice.

@royalsteven To an Eckan, the Eck is the Light and Sound of God. Other names for the same concept would be anything from Yahweh, the Holy Spirit, Brahman, Krishna, Ishvara, Paramatman, Christ Consiousness and many others across the world. It is the creator of the universe and the indwelling, trans-personal consciousness of everything within the universe. The description God gave of himself in the Old Testament; I Am That I Am, sums it up quite nicely.

What I was getting at is balance, and opposed to either/or, true/false/ good/bad. Many paths teach it, yet all books lack full or direct communication with Spirit. Why? There are too many shades, degrees. It seems to me that balance is an individual thing. That point varies with ones spiritual unfoldment, and it will be different for the Christian, Buddhist, Eckists, etc. It is even different with people of the same religious background. Everyone's state of consciousness is unique.

Christians you need to see this Vidieo " Who wrote the Bible" by National Geograhic in Part 3 it shows how the Book of Gen has conderdictor information. Two Versions of the same Storys are written. That proves that the Book of Gen was rewitten with a pached together Story that in incomplect in its information. Edward

@cybersailor , Yes the middle path is correct. Its a Buddist teaching. Were the christians are in Error is they teach that Jesus is the WORD. The Christ is the WORD , the 2nd person of the Godhead. This Christ imbodys him self in many Sons and Daughters of GOD. its not the Christians fault that they are teaching that Jesus is the word. The real problem is with Bible its self. Its teaching is incomplect. And the Bible has been been added and Subtracted to threw out History.
