Bit more respect for "those older punk bands" would be nice. Without them you wouldn't have been listening to this nicely polished mtv pop punk sound as you do now. Don't get me wrong... I like nfg, but know where it comes from. Real punk to me is looking beyond the popular bands to see what else (and often better) the punk scene has to offer. You should do well to check out nofx, bad religion, descendents, black flag, minor threat, good riddance or the germs as well.

@accidentsonpurpose thats awesome man, the memory was well worth the drive i bet. been to a lot of nfg concerts but i cant imagine how surreal that must of been. so was it just a concert then go home thing or was it like a lodge overnight stay kind of thing?
