Rennes was never ever about a mere bloodline or hidden treasure the greatest 'clue' of all was given by Pierre Plantard when, being interviewed, he uttered the word 'around' in reference to rennes

Sorry, no grail, no evidence, no Mary (outside the bible-no Magdelene) no evidence. Treasures are great when they are lost. A great tale, alas, not true. "Holy Blood Holy Grail" isbased upon bad tales (stuff that has been shattered). A grand story to buy, yet, alas, like atlantis, a dream.

this is not entirely true though, because the Davinci Code is built upon another book called holy blood, holy grail and not le trèsor maudit.
