AMD LadyBug DX11 Demo 5870 Tri Fire

This is the AMD LadyBug Demo which uses new focusing techniques based on Microsoft DirectX11. You'll find very realistic depth-of-field effects. This will be great for future games. These are a result of very accurate focus distance and focal length. Gaming will be very fun and interesting throughout the next few years.

It was captured using Fraps 3.0 using the following:

CCC settings are:
8x Edge-Detect AA
Supersampling
Vsinc enabled
8x AF
Triple Buffering enabled
Highest MipMap Detail

Thats a lot of electricity usage electricity =oil or coal and I hate paying higher prices for either :-p

do some rendering or use the cards for some computations or something useful

fyi,

I rarely play games. When I do, it is usually only simulation/racing games like FSX and Dirt 2.

I do a lot of photo/video editing so a system like this helps a lot.

Also, the new power saving imrprovements of the latest catalyst drivers are phenomenal. They system hardly uses any power at all in general use and browsing the web.

sad thing is. in 4 years, this guys pc will be outdated and wont run any new game...

just like those that bought 4x 8800gtx cards... haha its like some guy showing up to ICC in full t3 thinking there cool... haha for those wow ppl that understand... i quit wow! rawr

In 4 years, I would expect DX12 to be out, but the games will still of course give the option to game in DX11 mode.

The computer is meant to be future-proof for the next 3 years or really until DX12 is released.

this guys specs are over kill. To even have three of those cards is slightly over kill. That would be the best that you could get. The 9800 as the phsycis card is just a waste.

The PhysX card died on me and was sent back to NewEgg.

The computer is "NOT" overkill seeming that I game with the following setting with VSYNC always enabled with D3DOverrider Triple-Buffering always forced @ 1920x1080 resolution:

OpenGL/DX9 = 24xSSAA, 16xAF, Highest In-Game Settings

DX10/DX11 = 24xMSAA, 16xAF, Highest In-Game Settings

I always also use the most graphically intensive game modifications available for games.

Believe it or not, you "NEED" 3 x 5870s to do all this :)

@r4z0r84 mainstream idiots buy consoles, they follow each other like sheep, like flies around shit, holding back technological advancement whilst at the same time they beg for better graphics.

At least i haven't had to upgrade my PC for 4 years and i can boast better graphics and 3 times quicker load times when at my friends house with a £550 laptop lol

He started oblivion on PS3 & I did on laptop, within 3 hours i was 20 mins ahead of him simply due to load times lol

@luv2increase overkill, i have phenom 1090t, 8 GB ddr1600 GTX 470 1208MB £35 seagate hard disk, runs all on max that i throw at it, rarely drops below monitor refresh rate (60fps) cost me £623

unless if your making avatar 2 on one screen, watching 3D porn on another and finding and storing every prime number on your hard disk simultaneously you don't need it

if you own a PC like that i think you owe the earth a couple 250 watt solar pannels & a tree or 2

@nikkademus1 lol i only just upgraded to two gtx275's and a phenom2 x6 only really upgraded for video editing and modding. but yeah your right the 9800gt (8800gtx core) is still able to play all current games and content due to the fact there all getting directly ported from ps3/xbox360 my old 9550 system can run wii games. so due to the new xbox720 coming out, games will finally advance in graphics and upgrades will actually be needed lol

I would like to now what your FPS is on this both the default settings and what you've gottne on here now. Running default I get Min:29-Max:40-Avg:33.807 from fraps and that is from the beginning of the demo to the end of it @ 1920x1080 4xAA standard from the demo itself.

@Quipster99 I have a case that's just slightly larger than a normal one, with 5850 crossfire. It's more than practical enough.
