and...how does the aluminium one open up?
I don't want to open my aluminium one, as I just don't like bare electronics. Touch it without grounding yourself, its dead. Poke something at the chips, its probably dead.
I'm glad I don't have to open my machine to add more RAM.

WoW he dont listened the graphic card :D the New Super iMac G5 It can run without an graphic card :D ... xDDD but has 1GB video memory..... UHU xDD Aplle can do everything .. Chuck norris is working at apple xD

Well litararely there is a handle at the back of the POWERMAC G5 so you can taje the side off......

I'm researching all about Macs with the intention to convert over to them after more than 14 years using nothing but PCs. How easy is it to get inside a G5 iMac? Is the only tool needed that small screwdriver you showed in the beginning?

If you want to replace some components of your Mac you have to get a Mac Pro

I'd like to get the G5 someday. Perhaps the 17 inch, maybe a bigger one like the 20. They are still very good machines even in this day and age. So elegant.

Wasnt the G5 supposed to have to processors? I only saw one. Or is that just with the Apple Desktop.

The iMac g5 has only one processor. The PowerMac (tower) has 2 or 4
