A Boxster should be a poor man's 911?

Come on... you guys are 12 or you cant even nearly afford a Porsche.

Besides: You wouldn't call a F430 a poor man's Enzo, would you?

Most people have no clue as to why Boxster was made, some say it a poor mans porsche this or that...Boxster was built to honor Porsche's spyder 550, the one James Dean had. Anyone who had driven both carrera and boxster S, will tell you at the end of the day. If u want to be seen then get a carrera if u want to have fun going from point A to point B get the boxster S. because it feels like a racing gokart.

I had an S and it was a nice motor but running and servicing costs were phenomenal even as a summer car which i used it as. I have a TT now which is altogether more affordable and built just as well.

Poor mans porsche? 944/924 thats a poor mans porsche! Obvouisly cant afford one! Mid engined car, your talking 10% of the price of what a ferrari would cost you! Anyone who has driven one knows its a fantastic car, handles incredibly well, sounds fantastic and wouldnt be able to get a better car for the money.

@nathsgames Now that you have driven one, you know that feeling first hand. As an owner of 3 different Porsches over the last 18 years, i can say one thing. No matter what porsche you have, the moment you sit in it . You forget how old you are, and that little kid comes out in you again. No matter what kind of a day you had at the office. Driving back you forget your worries and there is this smile on your face. I can only imagine what the Ferrari and Lamborghini owners must feel.
