The kids are calling it "sexting" these days. As Katie Couric observes, more and more teenagers are engaging in sexually explicit text and photo cellular messages which could lead to future setbacks.

  • I would say it's innocent flirting..who really gets hurt by sending sexy messages to their love interest? I'd also call it a big stretch that some future employer is going to get ahold of these messages and "ruin a dream". Don't you just love how mass media attacks freedom and demonizes the youth of America?

  • It's sexting better than having real sex? Seriously, adults don't want us getting pregnant, yet, they don't want us sexting? What about Phone sex?

  • @yoyokittycatlol

    Your post

One word to everyone in the comments:

    Child pornography.

    That's why.

    .....

Actually what you ned to work out is why was child porn made illgal? becuse kids were being abused raped etc. by peados etc and could notbfight back ie sexaul bullying.

However like baby photos sexting does not involve abuse, bullying or anything bad, infact it leads to snuggles with loved ones.

This is not a problem you instead go for those callign girls sluts,a dn bullying

  • Son: Hey dad can I go on 4chan?

Dad: Sure, son! I post CP of you and your sister all of the time on there!

    Son: What's CP?

    Dad: It's...uhh... Never mind son!

  • i've been sexting before -_- and im 14, its not like im gonna get pregnant

  • Why would an employer, or especially a college admissions office care about that? It's none of their business. I could understand with employment there's more competition and some employers may actually care about that for some reason, but I don't see what reason a college could possibly have to care.

  • @yoyokittycatlol That's a problem with the law, not sexting. I doubt the lawmakers had that in mind when they prohibited child pornography.

  • i cant send pics or receive them.. cricket sucks lol

  • she says wisconsin weird...

  • shit 1/3 i'm missing out

why is everybody so uptight about a nude picture, pretty sure it all began after 9/11.. thanks alot osama

  • I feel pretty strongly about not sexting. And it's not because I've never been asked to or anything, I've been dating my boyfriend, who is my first love for 3 years now, we were together while he was in Alaska for 3 months, together when my dad died, and together when my nephews were born, so we've been through a lot. But I just don't feel comfortable with doing it. If you can handle the possibility of those photos getting sent around, go for it. But I'm never taking that chance.
