Indie Nashville (Sharon Koltick of Kink Ador) chats with Jason Kendall of Rock Band Network about their Creator's Club and the process for indie artists to get their songs on Rock Band.
T-Mobile sponsored a Creator's Club Workshop Series to help show artists and producers how to get songs up on the new Rock Band Network. Currently there are around 800 songs available for purchase in the network. Jason Kendall and Jeff Marshall of Harmonix / Rock Band joined forces with Gregory Gordon of Pyramind to hold workshops in Nashville, Austin, Seattle, New York, San Francisco and many other cities. Additional sponsors of the tour included The Recording Academy (NARAS, GRAMMY), Pyramind, SHURE, Fender and G.A.N.G.
At the end of the video is Sharon and Kink Ador's own song ANIMAL as it appears on the Rock Band Xbox game. Kink Ador is Sharon Koltick, Brad Naylor and Andrew Sovine. Guitar solo and guitar parts co-written with guitar wizard Kenny Olson, who spent 11 years as lead guitarist for Kid Rock.
Kink Ador's song ANIMAL for Rock Band was produced by John Griffin, executive director of Rock Band Relief. (see http://www.RockBandRelief.org) A portion of proceeds from the song benefit the flood victims in Nashville. There will be over 30 artists involved in the program including Big Kenny, Damien Horne, Loni Rose, Amy Courts, Lazar Lazar and Kink Ador. A major concert and Rock Band Contest.
