My brothers band recorded a song in a Brisbane recording studio in which lyrically and rythmatically this song sounds the same....WTF....musicians always listen to other artists songs in which they are influenced by and sometimes copy....awesome song.....

GO WOLFMOTHER!!!

Are you calling the old music crap or todays?
Zeppelin, purple, and a few other bands from late 60s and 80s are purely amazing.
like Zeppelin, Sabbath, and Deep Purple.
And scarcley a few bands and even worth listening too.
White stripes, wolfmother, some metallica (depending on your taste)
Now while Wolfmother are no where near as good as Zeppelin or them they are still damn good.

Oh I'm sure they have the complexity, style and skill. Though they do not have a long catalogue as you say, but they can get in time. Of course Heskett and Ross leaving probably meant a drastic change in music for them.... we'll see on cosmic egg.

not really...depends on your taste...e.g i told all the old stuff, aswell as the next stuff. and i think it good to have a good quality band like this, its refreshing, and makes me jelous that i wana play in a band like this lol

Ya but think about, led zepp, deep purple etc were all back when our elders actually liked music. nowadays it usually is better than stuff that was , well ,crap
-
why the fuck compare, just accept it for what it is, 3 aussie guys playing great music. bloody zepplin, sabbath, deep purple, hello this is the 21st century not the 70's.

For a really great live performance, see Lynyrd Skynyrd's Freebird

wolf mother isnt the best but there good to listen to every once in a while

Wolfmother is an Epic band. The way Andrew Stockdale starts slow and gains speed, the way Chris Ross jumps form the drum stage to the keyboard in perfect time, and the way Myles Heskett drums is just godly. Most epic band ever, WOLFMOTHER!
