To fix internal Battery problem
Go to Option, Emulator, Tick Real Time clock

@Bugnatribe Thanks, I figured it out in 5 minutes. I didn't know what buttons were A and B so I didn't know what to press when I got to the menu.  I just went into Emulator -> Joystick -> Z. Started playing from there. Thanks again though!!!

@MichaeIRedd First open the VBA (emulator) then click

File > Open > *now select the rom and click open*
