King Dedede is a nervous wreck after he hears that the world-famous food critic Chef Shiitake is coming to Castle Dedede to sample its cooking. The Waddle Dees are no chefs, so the king decides to consult Kawasaki to make him the court chef... But, it turns out that his food is even worse than the Waddle Dee's. He desperately wants to make a good dish, though, because Chef Shiitake was his master back in cooking school. What lengths will Kawasaki go to in order to impress his old teacher?
