do all Remington bolts do that cause i was looking into one and wasn't sure cause i have been a savage lover and haven't really had any Remington rifles

You need to work the bolt like a man! but other than that, looks like a fun day at the range. thumbs to god.

Nice shootin tex....

Remington rifles are my favourite, I have had the PSS in .308 and 300 win mag, i would put them against any expensive rifle in the accuracy stakes, best value for money rifle on the planet.

@scoodlers do u know abit about rifles, so lets say u give a marine corps sniper this exact rifle and ask him to hit a target the exact range of their training he could do it or not?whats the difference?so they arent the same quality or standards as the military?they dont want ppl to have the same equipmentas marine like it would be too dangerous to sell these guns to the general public?cheers if you know

@88weedsmoker yeah but basically the only thing left on the M40A5 thats even remotley close to a M700 is the bolt.

is that rifle relatively new? because i have been having the same mag feeding and bolt manipulation problems that you seem to have and i think its because the rifle is new and the spring in the mag seems to want to jump out of the reciever sometimes jk

@mattbouldin1 It's not new.
Most of that problem was because the loads were a bit excessive and causing the hard extraction.
I went to a different load that still gives me the correct velocity for a 175 Sierra MK and that issue went away.

what kind of 308 ammo are you useing

@lukesoutdoors A 175 SMK bullet, federal case and primer, RE-15 powder. The accuracy was good but they were too hot and thats why the bolt was sticky when I opened it.
