90g Zinc Chloride Smoke Mix HC

90g military smoke mix used for smoke screens

Zinc Chloride smoke aka "HC" (used in AN-M8 grenade)

45% Hexachloroethane
45% Zinc Oxide
10% Aluminum

Produces VERY dense smoke, much denser than standard sugar mixes.
Uses KClO4/sucrose/Titanium igniter.

WARNING: smoke is poisonous, forms Hydrochloric acid on contact with H2O.

@Korvan1993 they use much nastier smoke screens like white phosphorus. The safer smoke compositions such as nitrate/sugar aren't nearly as effective and dissapate easily when there's wind present.

@badmf13 Hey. Hope you still answer to so old videos. Why would they use piosonous smoke on the battlefield where soldiers are around? Other then that, you got some awesome videos. Lets hope the gov dont think you're a terrorist and puts away because of that new law shit.

@donnelrj01 No, but you can buy it by the pound at AmericanPyroSupply. But be very VERY careful. Wear gloves and protection when you are using HC compositions and putting them together. Zinc Chloride and Hexachloroethane are known carcinogens. (Means they give you cancer). So wear gloves and good protection if you use it. Also, don't breathe the smoke if you can help it.

That said, strong, acidic osidation of Trichloromethane, or electrolysis of the same, MIGHT lead to the desired HC... I'm interested now! ^^
