Walking is the single most effective exercise for our health but many of us can't find the time to do it. Professor Sir Muir Gray offers practical advice on how to fit it into our daily lives.
Read about the 10,000 steps challenge:

This is typical of the over inflated NHS bureaucracy. Only it could come up with a 5 minute video, which has been watched on average 2.2 times per day, to extoll the benefits of walking. This will not have improved anyone’s health by one iota. Nice work if you can get it but I’d rather the cash for this self-aggrandisement project had been spent treating sick people.

Hi Sir Gray
This is Tara McArthur. We met at Lewisham. Just to say that I enjoyed the video and the break down of how many steps make a km. Also, to remind you about sending me the book on walking.
All the best, Tara
