he need to put this on wax asap

@teiaperigosa Drake and Wayne are all about Punchlines. Jay barely uses punchlines listen to reasonable doubt, or where i'm from.

@The1987Kid when kids worship rappers that kick simple punchlines, 1liners and typical the same content, their mindset is small and can't understand the complex lyrics of the MCs. Then, that results in them saying "Ohh, Jay-Z he don't be saying nothing in his rhymes"
-
@teiaperigosa Wrong... Jay-z is DEFINITELY not all about punchlines.. You CLEARLY haven't heard many of his albums. For example, American Gangster wasn't known for punchlines. It was known for showing the deep meanings of the crack era. How is it the same old shit if that's all he was around? Its about that time you STEP your game up and do research before typing. And you clearly stated that Solomon's version was better when he did the SAME exact thing Jay-z did.. Only 15 years later..

@Anto8787 lmao....jay z is all about punch lines... and otherwise he's talking bout the same old shit. nothing creative, nothing exceptional...so I called it GARBAGE. now, what is this 'true meaning' you speak of, lmao...I don't have time to analyze dumb ass simpleton trap raps. and I never assumed solomon's version went over anyone's head. his shit is simpleton too. It's an artistic IMPROVEMENT though. and of course it is...as a remake/cope of that nature SHOULD be. step ur game up boy boy
-
@teiaperigosa Pretty sure when Jay recorded this song not to drop punchlines but to have people catch the true meaning of this version. Solomon's version didn't go over my head at all.. I analyzed all of it easily.
-
@Anto8787 no...simple parts of speech obviously are above your realm of analysis....it's tired. only fanboys think this shit is dope
-
@teiaperigosa Jay-z's rhymes obviously went over your head then.
-
@LosAngelesWeedSmoker LMAO? Jay-z recorded 22 twos for Reasonable Doubt in 96.. He did 44 fours to promote his Kingdom Come album in 2006.. How come Iron Solomon's song came out in 2011?
-
@LosAngelesWeedSmoker dude canibus started that shit, and jay did 22 2's in 96, way before Iron Solomon
Eminem is more commercial then Jay-Z but i never hear anybody diss him for that like it's a double standard like Jay-Z can't rap about hustling & being on the block anymore but when he raps about deep lyrical content like Lost Ones, Minority Report, Beach Chair, Sweet, No Hook, Fallin', Soon You'll Understand & Where Have You Been then people say he is falling off like people want it both ways he is married with paper higher then a roof & he's older so his content is not for 14-21 rather 26-40.

@NOLASaints911 history says that those three are the greatest lyricists of all time....not the greatest rappers.....and like i've said before.....the thing that makes jay-z the greatest rapper alive is that NO ONE has been able to put together the combination of lyrics and songwriting ability like he has.........don't get me wrong.....i'm NOT saying that he is the best at both.......i AM saying that no one can put the two together better than him
