  • This old WWII bomber pilot really enjoyed the "DannyBoy" cut. It really brought forth the feelings of getting ready for a mission, flying it, and getting back to base in one piece. The Glenn Miller music really set everything going just right. Major USAF retired. Thank you

  • Thank you from an English Man To our American Brothers Who came and gave all when we needed you most

  • the flying whale

  • I like this video. You captured the spirit of the times... :))

Thank you for posting it. :))

  • B-17F and Glenn Miller = match made in heaven.........

  • @thebuzzard577 Thank you so very much for your service.

  • I never flew the B-17, I did fly the B-25, the same aircraft that Jimmy Dolittle flew off the carrier to bomb Japan in early 1942. Also flew the B-29, the C-47, C-46 and even the P-51...(after the war while in the ready reserve). Those were some planes, and it was an honor to have been allowed to fly them.

  • @thebuzzard577 You mean you actually have piloted such a beast? AWESOME!! Must be a great honor to fly in such a bird like that!

  • I am 41, these guys were men, I wish I could say the same of my generation. When i die I want to drink with guys who died in the air bar of heaven, bomber section. They were men to look up to.
