i think the main reason people want to be Na'Vi is because you can directly interact with nature. make a bond (Saheylou) with any creature or to the tree of souls to hear the voices of your ancestors too. Even Eywa!!!!!!!! we have no connection to anything that is that deep and pure. to meld mind and body as one. Nothing here on earth comes close to comparing the idea of actually knowing your god REALLY exists. its tangible and not abstract. As Neytiri screams at the end "EYWA HAS HEARD YOU!"

Some guys on here say they want to live like a Navi. Well all you really need to do is create a tribe of people,whear a loin cloth, And go run around in a rainforest. The message in the story isnt about if your a navi, life will go on great and happy and the earth will be saved. It's telling you to take care of earth more. We're all exactly like a Navi ;) We just don't act like them.
