War hero and had plenty chance to stay confortable with the firenation. Azula was psychotic and heartless, zuko was caring and saw the truth of the fire nations ply. You can see this even in their childhood so it wasnt due to treatment. Zuko and azula didnt have good times together in a sufficient volume. They were rivals since childhood. Thats the gist of it.

It all comes down to this though. Zuko and azula made their choices without any differences in background or unfairness. zuko having only questioned his allegiance due to being treated poorly is false. He questioned ozais motives from the start. Thats why he spoke out of turn. Azula had plenty opportunity to see the evil in ozais ways, just as much as zuko. Azula having only stayed with the fire nation due to good treatment is also false. She was drawn to war and violence. Zuko was praised as a

@KindlingKatalyst Azula displayed sociopathic behavior from the beginning her fate was decided from the get go.

@Prissi20 But is this an inner struggle for good, or just an inner struggle for sanity? I see jealousy and emotional abandonment, not questioning her loyalty to her Nation like Zuko.
-
@KindlingKatalyst the image of her mother began to reappear ('mirror' scene). What happened to Zuko at the same time is the opposite. Like, she's exactly at the state Zuko's in at the start of the series.

Where she's taken aback by her dad's treatment in one episode: "I don't want to be treated a fool like Zuko!". Soonafter she became slipping and going ashtray. Lost the mean to fight, cause what she's looking for isn't 'there'. (to understand this just think what will happen if Zuko is the favored one, or if she's the heir. His dad would kill her instead. By whim of Azulon).

Because she looked up to her father, and be fulfilled by his attention. There're no circumstances that caused her to questioning, unlike Zuko. Azula doesn't have an inner struggle until an episode: (SPOILER ALERT!!)

@Prissi20 What I don't get is that Azula is Roku's descendant too, so where is her inner struggle of good and evil like Zuko's . . .?

Woah, this is awesome.

Wow!! That is SO cool!! Great job, and I *love* the song!! What is the ep at 1:36?
Yeah. What Sozin had started is not only damaging the world. But also his decendants. What happened to Azula is like the overview of the world had the Avatar failed to stop Ozai and had Ozai continue with his brutal ambition. It'll not gonna work. The whole world will be filled with madness and chaos and it'll soon destroying themselves.
