i did work experience at Sheffield Theatres this year, where Daniel is now artistic director,
and i had no idea that when he said he was an actor he meant to this degree. WOW!!

In my humble opinion, no-one could ever aspire to reach the dizzying heights that Mandy achieved in this role. He is perfect. Total genuine raw emotion, angst, genius personified. You could say I quite like him...lol

You can tell that, at least vocally, his performance is inspired a bit by Mandy. It's tough to get out of the mold of such a revolution performance as Mandy's.

I have to say I'm not crazy about Daniel -- He doesn't play the part as detached or obsessed with his work, and that's basically what George was. Mandy Patinkin will forever be Georges Seurat in my eyes, but nevertheless Daniel has a wonderful voice.
