The new style of cuban dance music catching the attention of dancers, musicians, and music fans around the world is TIMBA! Timba is the big rage nowadays. On the surface of things, the music is very similar to salsa. They both evolved from the Cuban Son, and while salsa is more traditional, Timba is full of inovations.
The variety of Timba bands on the dance music scene range from classic to innovative, but one thing they have in common is a sound that is strikingly fresh and irresistable.
